Catalyst provides loans to small business owners, nonprofits, and mission-aligned for-profit developers. We provide construction loans, tax increment financing, bridge loans, and SBA 504 for the acquisition and/or development of affordable housing, community facilities, owner-occupied commercial real estate, and economic development projects.

Joseph Bonora is the founder and President and CEO of Catalyst Community Capital, Inc. Joe has over 20 years of experience in real estate finance and development, and is responsible for the strategic direction of the company. He is particularly well versed in government funding programs, including state and federal tax credits, tax increment financing, and public private partnerships, and is well known within the industry for his ability to create innovative new ways to finance transactions. 

​

​Prior to forming Catalyst, Joe was the co-founder and Managing Director of Aileron Investment Management, a national specialty finance firm focused on government guaranteed loan programs, and developer of multifamily, senior housing and mixed-use properties. From the time he formed the company in 2010 until 2018, Joe led Aileron in providing in excess of $550 million in funding to small business owners nationwide, and developed over $200 million in multifamily and commercial real estate.

Michael Maguire is Catalyst Community Capital's Chief Operating Officer, responsible for management of the company's loan portfolio, investor relations, and capital market activities. Mike has over 18 years of audit, management and investment banking experience. 

​

Mike began his career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen and eventually joined the investment banking group at Citigroup, where he focused on lower-middle-market M&A. After leaving Citigroup, Mike joined LCG Capital Group, a Tampa-based investment banking firm, where he focused on sell-side M&A transactions, as well as debt placement and equity syndications. 

​

Mr. Maguire graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame, earning a B.B.A. in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accountancy. Mr. Maguire is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida (non-active) and holds FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.

Reid Jaeger is the Director of Real Estate Development at Catalyst Asset Management. In this role, Reid is responsible for managing the ground-up development process for the company’s market rate multifamily projects, including selection and oversight of the design team, general contractor and property managers.

​

Prior to joining Catalyst, Reid was the Real Estate Portfolio Manager for Forge Capital Partners, where he was responsible for creating and overseeing customized asset management strategies for investment properties owned or developed by Forge Capital Partners. Before joining Forge Capital Partners, Mr. Jaeger was a Commercial Credit Analyst with Aileron Capital Management.

Mr. Jaeger obtained his Bachelor Degree in Finance from Florida State University, and a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Tampa.

Chance Friedman joined Catalyst in 2022 as a Commercial Loan Associate. In this role, Chance is responsible for new loan intake and underwriting, as well as closing coordination and portfolio management. Additionally, Chance assists with community outreach and business development. 

​

Prior to Catalyst, Chance worked for a Lendsimpli, private commercial lender based in Tampa, where he was responsible for loan servicing and the packaging and sale of the company's loans.  

​

Chance graduated from the Florida State University with a Bachelor's degree in Finance.
